The former Playboy Bunny claimed years of verbal and emotional abuse in her memoir “Down the Rabbit Hole” written in 2016. Later, in the podcast “Power: Hugh Hefner,” the former “Girls Next Door” star spoke of her “traumatic” first sexual encounter with the magazine magnate. She spoke with A&E for “The Secrets of Playboy” in early 2022 and claimed that the famous Playboy Mansion was “cult-like.”
The Playboy Murders, a new true-crime docuseries on Investigation Discovery (ID) that examines high-profile catastrophes connected to the enduring magazine brand, premiered on January 23 with the 43-year-old as the host.

The mother of two told Fox News Digital, “I started sharing my personal story back in 2015, just because I was frustrated. Every day I would run into folks who had preconceived ideas about me based on what they thought I should be. I merely felt compelled to share my perspective on the situation, my motivations, and the choices I had made. At first, it was just a personal narrative.

I wasn’t especially thrilled to share my story
again when I appeared on “Secrets of Playboy” last year, but I did want to be present and show support for the other women who were coming out and sharing their tales, she said. “I am familiar with how it feels to be the only one and have no one to support you or corroborate your claims. And right now, I identify so strongly with some of the women who are profiled in these stories. These were actual people whose lives went beyond the glitzy aspect we witnessed. I desired to share their tales.”

Over the course of seven years, “there were numerous moments that I wanted to leave or was ready to leave, and Hef would kind of swoop in and handle whatever issue was on my mind at the time,” the woman recalled. I saw it more as an a-ha moment than as a sign
that the relationship was multi-partner because I had assumed that was why I was having issues. It caused me to see when I left, I was suffering from shell shock, said Madison. “I’m not even sure what I did or how it felt on my first day out. I simply realized that I had to get started right away with building a life and a career for myself. I had to find a way to make a living. However, I had emotional shell shock when I began to understand this partner I had been with for seven years. I was realising that many people in my life who I had thought of as friends actually weren’t. They only came to the mansion because I was a regular presence there.
