Grammy Award winner Doja Cat discusses
her “Balls to the Wall” new era, including rapping more, having viral fashion moments, and being a “messy bitch.”It can almost feel as if she’s had as many looks and sounds in that short period as Madonna or Lady Gaga has in their entire careers when you consider the ways she’s captured the attention of pop culture as a hitmaker and sly fashionista since she broke through as a star with the No. 1 hit “Say So” just three years ago. That’s obviously illusory for someone with only three albums. However, 27-year-old Doja Cat has made enough of an impression as a musician and a fashion icon to earn 16 Grammy nominations, five of which she will be presenting at the 2023 awards show. These nominations include ones for record of the year for “Woman” and rap category recognition for her “Elvis” soundtrack song, “Vegas.” playboy https://playboyhoodie.shop/hoodie

. Her buzz cut now has two colors: half natural and half blonde. She holds up a glass of red wine and declares, “I’m going to play with it more.” Her American Bulldog, Malibu, is standing with his front paws in her lap. “I believe I want to do something along the lines of two completely different colors on either side.”
Although her supporters now appear to understand the style, she observed as a heated online argument broke out when she originally chopped off all of her hair in the fall. Even some bystanders questioned whether her shaved head indicated she was experiencing a rough moment à la Britney Spears in 2007. She was upset by Spears’ remarks rather than her own. “People should stop acting in such a disrespectful manner,”
But aside from that, she adds, “I remember thinking, ‘Get this shit off of me,’ because I needed to change something,” when she shaved her head and removed her eyebrows. “I wasn’t exercising and wasn’t really taking the best possible care of myself. I simply chopped it all off because I felt the need to act. I could also make out the outline of my head. I could make out my entire face. Now that I don’t have a wig stuck to my forehead, I can see my ears. custom playboy hoodiehttps://playboyhoodie.shop/hoodies/

She continues, “I’ve been making wigs for years, and I still haven’t adjusted. It doesn’t feel good to wake up in the morning with it in your mouth and eyes. If you want to exercise but your head slips off while you’re at a public gym, it is stressful. So, in addition to looking after your body, you now have another duty. As a result, I’ve never felt more gorgeous and it’s the best decision I’ve ever made.
And, what do you know? I still wear wigs, and now that I don’t have as much hair underneath them, they look better. My wigs used to be braided with oil and adhesive buildup because I wouldn’t wash my hair for two or three weeks at a time. Even the question of whether she should be viewed as primarily a pop singer or a hip-hop queen-in-waiting, that is, Nicki Minaj’s successor, has generated some debate in some musical circles. Add to that the fact that she hasn’t just displayed rock-star energy during her few live performances over the past 18 months, especially a second-billed 2022 Coachella set that had everyone claiming she should have been the headliner.
